Portal Sandbox Portals: Gun, Blender and Fixes

Portal Sandbox portals have three different questions: selecting the Portal Gun, choosing Blender before entry, and diagnosing a failed action. Pick the one that matches the point where you are stuck instead of changing every input or assuming a paid variant repairs travel.

Before-entry conditionBlender uses F before crossing; T selects the Portal Gun.

Portal Gun travel, Blender Dimension and input troubleshooting.

Separate the tool, the entry choice and the symptom

T names the Portal Gun, while Blender Dimension has its own F-before-entry condition. The gun article keeps selection and the advertised optional variants together; the Blender article applies the extra order without inventing a destination reward or damage rule. Troubleshooting starts by distinguishing the wrong tool, no response and an unexpected travel result. That distinction makes the next check useful. A new gun name or UI color is a purchase topic, not proof of a travel advantage. After the relevant action is familiar, move to the next activity rather than repeating every portal guide.

Questions about portals

Is T the Blender input?

T selects Portal Gun. Blender Dimension uses F before entering a portal. Keep those two jobs distinct so a correct tool selection does not get mistaken for a completed Blender sequence.

Should I buy a variant to fix a portal problem?

Treat the optional variants according to their advertised items. Do the input and entry-order checks first; a product name does not establish that it repairs a missing response or changes the travel rule.
